About TPSF

The Voice of Tanzania's Private Sector

Since 1998, the Tanzania Private Sector Federation has served as the apex body of the private sector — building bridges between business and government, and creating the conditions for enterprise to flourish.

Who We Are

The Tanzania Private Sector Federation (TPSF) was established in 1998 as the umbrella body for the private sector in Tanzania. We bring together business membership organisations, trade associations, chambers of commerce, and corporate entities under one coordinated voice.

Our mandate is to foster a competitive, transparent, and inclusive business environment where Tanzania's private sector can grow, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to the national economy. We do this through advocacy, research, capacity building, and dialogue with government and development partners.

TPSF is a politically neutral and private-sector-led institution governed by a Board of Trustees drawn from leading private sector organisations across Tanzania.
